Denise A. Estopinal
As the visionary leader of TEG, Denise consults on public communications strategy and directs her office’s implementation on all aspects of communications and public outreach for the firm’s clients. Prior to forming TEG in 2001, Denise was a journalist, government communications professional and community and public affairs executive. She directed communications for New Orleans Mayor Marc H. Morial (1994-1999) and was appointed the first Public and Community Affairs Executive for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Judicial Circuit, leading media and community relations for federal judges in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
Denise holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Louisiana State University. A native of New Orleans, Denise is a descendent of one of the first Spanish families of Louisiana. She has served on numerous non-profit, community and higher education boards including The Women’s Professional Council, Parkway Partners of New Orleans and The University of New Orleans International Alumni Association, among others. She is a founding member and publicist for the Krewe of Muses and has been an adjunct professor teaching Strategic Communications Strategy, Crisis Communication and Public Relations Writing at Xavier University of Louisiana.
